Lemonade Challenge
Call it a Throwdown or call it a Challenge, either way, call it a fun way to raise money for faces. Sell lemonade or be a matching donor - both Kids and Adults can get involved in raising money for the Blanca Vazquez Summer Camp Scholarship Fund.
KIDS, do you want to sell some lemonade? Use your favorite recipe, set up the best lemonade stand in town, sell as much as you can and, for every dollar you raise, your contribution will be doubled by a matching donor.
So, if you raise $10 from your lemonade sale, this means that faces gets $20; for every $50 you raise, faces actually gets $100. It's a great idea, right? Every little bit helps especially when we are trying to raise money to help kids with epilepsy go to summer camp next year.
Did you know that you could use your fundraising skills to earn school credit for community service?
You're helping us and we want to help you. We'll send you a faces t-shirt to wear, some lemonade packets, flyers to use for advertising, tips and an information packet. If you raise the most money between July 4th and Labor Day, September 7th, we will feature you in the next faces Newsletter - pictures and all! ADULTS, do you want to match a child's fundraising effort? We promised the kids that someone would match every dollar they raise and maybe that person is you? It's a fun way to encourage a child to feel good about raising money for charity and to support his or her entrepreneurial skills.
And just as we're asking kids to get involved with faces, we're asking you too. You can either: 1) match every dollar earned by your own child, or 2) sponsor another fundraiser-in-the-making.
